We had the Watoto choir at National Community Church this weekend. They were SO GOOD. Amazing to see orphans, who have experienced more tragedy in their young lives than most of us will experience in a lifetime, with SO MUCH JOY.

We had a chaperon and three kids stay at our home last night. The highlight? They sang our national anthem. And they knew it better than Christina Aguilera. It was also fun to see the kids use our foot massager! They were giggling like crazy.

One lesson we’ve learned about missions is that it’s got to be relational. I love the way we’ve cultivated relationships with so many missionaries and missions organizations. We raised the money and built a few of the Watoto houses a few years ago so we have a vested interest. Lots of NCCers support a Watoto child. And it’s such a joy to connect with them when they do their choir tour!
