I was telling them about my blog and one of them said a blog is like a virtual watercooler. Man, I loved that. Alot. What a great description. A watercool is where colleagues gather in a workplace to shoot the breeze. My blog serves lots of functions, but one of them is shooting the breeze

I was thinking about “virtual watercoolers” all day and then I thought back to the way ancient wells served the same purpose. They were the gathering place for communities. That’s where people would come to shoot the breeze and quench their thirst.

A well is an ancient watercooler. Or a watercool is a modern well. One way or the other, a blog is both. Take your pick: ancient well or virtual watercooler.

Pop the can. Guzzle some Spirit fuel
