I’m sure you’ve been watching the Inauguration happenings on Fox or CNN. So you’ve seen the firsthand reports of what it’s like. As someone who has lived on the Hill for more than a decade, I’ve never seen anything like it. Non-stop sirens. Streets closed. Can’t find a parking spot by our house because of all the out-of-state license plates! And the foot traffic has been amazing. Herds of people. It’s like the wildebeest migration in Africa!

Believe it or not, I fly out of DC this afternoon. A scheduled speaking engagement that I booked more than a year ago. Who knew it’d be on this day! I’ll be in the air flying over about two million people on the mall. Great view of the parade!
