For many years I’ve wanted to take a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. I’ve actually had the opportunity to go before, but I didn’t want to go unless Lora could come with me.  I felt like we needed to experience it together for the first time.  So I waited. But the wait is over.  I’ll set foot in Israel for the first time in 24 hours.

This is not a vacation. It’s a pilgrimage.  I think it was Saint Jerome who called the Holy Land the fifth gospel.  I can’t wait to read it.  I’ll try to instagram a few pictures while I’m there!
