We spent the last several days in Chicago. All I can say is this: I’m overwhelmed by God’s goodness and faithfulness. There is nothing like going back to where you’re from. Memories were flying at me every few seconds. We visited the old house, the old school, the old church. So many stories. So many moments.
The awesome thing about getting older is this: the accumulation of God’s faithfulness. The sense of gratitude grows more profound with every passing year. The older you get the more faith you should have because you’ve witnessed the faithfulness of God!
One of the cool highlights was the architectural boat tour of Chicago. Awe-inspiring view of the city. Plus I proposed to Lora on a boat tour twenty years ago!
Every so often we need to go back to our burning bushes and give God thanks for ordering our footsteps!
