You ever have a revelation? A moment when you think to yourself: how have I lived this long without knowing this? I just had one of those moments at lunch with Todd Wilson and Pat Furguson.

I was slapping the bottom of the ketchup bottle when Pat asked if I knew “the secret.” Yes, I’ve heard of that book but it seemed a little off topic. No, not that secret. The Secret. The pinnacle of the oracle of knowledge. Do you know how to start a brand new bottle of ketchup without slapping it on the end of the bottle until your hand is black-and-blue or sticking your butter knife in it. Imagine hearing choirs of angels right now. That is when Pat told me you have to…drum roll please–hit the 57 engraved on the side of the bottle. It’s the magic spot. And sure enough. It worked. Voila!

Almost every night at our dinner table I ask the kids what they learned. I cannot wait to share what I learned today. Changed my life!
