T-Minus 1 Month

It’s hard to describe, and I’m not sure if it’s this way for other authors, but approaching a release date for a book is almost like approaching a due date for your kids. I’m certainly not putting a book on par with the birth of my three kids. But it evokes the same kind of feelings in a lesser form. And it did involve lots of labor. I apologize in advance to all the women reading this, but writing a book is like carrying a baby. You are pregnant with something God has conceived in your spirit. And as the release date approaches, you can’t wait to hold it in your hands. I’ve seen the design, but it’s not the same as feeling the cover and flipping the pages and seeing it on a shelf. It redeems all the edits and early mornings.

Primal officially releases in t-minus one month, December 22. But it looks like it’ll come off the press a little early. Hopefully it can serve as a last minute stocking stuffer for procrastinating, I mean discriminating, shoppers.
