It’s official. Our 97 Honda Accord with 225,000 miles was stolen on Sunday night. Who steals a car with 225,000 miles on it? You know you live in the city when it doesn’t even phase you. My mental reaction when the car was missing was: Huh, I think someone stole our car in a rather deadpan voice to self.

This is our third stolen vehicle in the past seven years. As a proud member of the Junky Car Club, I thought our junky car was safe. Honestly, I feel worse about my golf clubs in the trunk and five favorite shirts that were headed to the dry cleaners!
