If I had to sum up what the Spirit has been saying to me the last few months it’s this: stay humble and stay hungry.

The blessings of God are dangerous.  Here’s why: if you don’t PRAISE God for the blessings then they turn into PRIDE. It’s one or the other.  So you need to be careful to give God all of the glory.  I don’t just feel blessed.  I feel blessed beyond.  And I’m trying to channel all of those blessings into praise.

The Bible says that God opposes the proud.  Here’s a scary thought.  Many people who are doing the work of God are actually being opposed by the God they are trying to serve because they are doing it out of pride.  It’s awfully tough doing the work of God when God is opposing you!  But if you stay humble, look out.  Then there is nothing that God cannot do in you or through you.

You also need to stay hungry.  In other words, don’t get comfortable.  If you want to see God do new things in your life you have to do new things.  You have to pray in new ways, worship in new ways, seek God in new ways.  May God give us a holy hungry to know Him more!
