We’re in a series called Miracles and we’re believing God for the miraculous! Why? Because that is how God reveals His glory and I believe God wants to reveal more of His glory in us and through us.
I felt like the Spirit gave me a word of wisdom this weekend. I don’t always share these via blog but why not. Here goes: the key to your miracle is being part of someone else’s miracle. I think it’s easy for us to focus on the miracle we need, but if we would focus on being part of someone else’s miracle then maybe God would release ours. In other words, their miracle will become our miracle. That doesn’t mean we have ulterior motives. In the kingdom, we don’t do this to get that. God doesn’t honor selfish motives. So I sure hope this is taken in the right spirit. It’s all about putting ourselves in a position where God can do the miraculous in our lives. And one way to do that is to be part of someone else’s miracle.
When you start talking about miracles I know you can get branded by certain Christian camps. So be it. I happen to believe that miracles ought to be normative. I’m craving the supernatural these days. Why? Because I want to see God glorified. I want Him to do things we can’t take credit for.
