I looked up on the stage of the Lincoln Theatre and I was so proud of each person who was part of making history.  We recorded a live album: The God Anthology.

It started nine months ago as a sermon series idea.  Nine weeks. Nine character trails of God.  Then we decided to write an original worship song for each message.  Then we decided to cap the series by recording a live album.  The amount of physical energy and creative energy that went into the project was off the charts.  The album will be too!

Thanks to the entire worship team and an amazing choir of voices.  Last night was historic. God’s anointing is on this project. It’s going to be a gift to the Church-at-large.

Then to top it off, John Hasler, our Berlin campus pastor, flew in from Germany to surprise Steph Modder with a proposal and a ring.  Unforgettable!  Our staff went nuts!  A live album. An engagement ring.  Doesn’t get much better than that, but wait, there’s more. We topped it off with a Chicago-style hot dog at Chidogo’s.

We came. We saw. We worshiped.
