Today was a true sabbath.

I put my family on a plane back to DC early this morning and I had the day to myself. It’s been a while since I had a day with nothing to do and nowhere to go. I hung out around the third street promenade and read for six hours.

Topped things off tonight with a visit to the Mayan where Mosaic holds its Sunday night services. Absolutely love the venue! Great vibe. And it was a great message by Erwin McManus. Love the way he communicates! I felt right at home. Very similar demographic to NCC–lots of single twenty-somethings.
