Excited about Kurtis Parks joining our team in a few months. He’s a brilliant songwriter with a huge heart for God. He’ll join an amazing worship team at NCC led by another brilliant songwriter, our own Steph Modder.

I think Primal Love is the first song inspired by Primal. Kurtis wrote it after reading the first few chapters. And I feel like it’s an answer to prayer. I prayed that Primal would inspire artists–both musical and visual–to create sounds and images. We live in a culture where reformations are sparked by artists, not just pastors. Artists like Chris Tomlin and Kelly Minter and Kari Jobe aren’t just beautiful voices. They are prophetic voices.
