Today proved to be one of the longest days of my life. We wrapped up our 47 kilometer hike of the Inca Trail. More on that later. We got to the Sun Gate as the sun was rising. Spent most of the day at Machu Picchu. Hung out in Aguas Caliente in the evening.

We hopped on the 9:30 train to Kilometer 82. Then we got on a bus that was supposed to take us to another bus that was supposed to take us back to Cusco. Turned into a crazy night that included a collapsed bridge and a produce truck blocking the road because he was angry! Got back to Cusco around 3 AM.
