The prevailing prayer when I wrote In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day was that it would get into the right hands at the right time. God has answered that prayer hundreds of thousands of times. I never cease to be amazed at the sovereignty of God.

So I just found out that every player in Major League Baseball is getting a copy. Are you kidding me? As a former athlete, I love the way God has used the book in NFL, NBA, and now MLB circles.

The lesson? If you are faithful in doing what God has called you to do, He’ll open doors you never could. You’ll influence people you don’t even know. In the natural realm, it’s six degrees of separation. In the supernatural realm, it’s one degree of separation.

God can use anyone to touch anyone. It’s His specialty!
