I’m off to Grand Rapids, Michigan. So excited about meeting my new publishing team, Zondervan.  They will publish The Circle Maker which releases in December of this year.  We’re also producing a curriculum, children’s book, and one-year Bible that play off the book.

Whenever I’m speaking at a conference, I always make it a point to thank the support staff who sells the books. In fact, I usually try to give them a free book as a thank you. It takes an author to write a book, but it takes a sales team, editorial team, marketing team, and curriculum team to get it into people’s hands.  I’m indebted to those who edit, market, and sell my books.  While we’re on the subject, I’m indebted to those who package and ship books and those who handle correspondence.

I certainly love meeting senior editors and VPs and CEOs.  Don’t get me wrong. But I’ve come to appreciate those who are in the trenches that make the world go round!
