Every year we try to do some kind of spiritual challenge as we kick off the New Year. We were already thinking about doing some kind of fast leading up to the launch of our fifth location on 02.08.09. But the thing that sealed the deal for me was a phone call from Stovall Weems who pastors Celebration Church in Jacksonville, Florida. They are organizing something called Awakening. And calling churches to join them in a New Year’s Fast. Here are some of the participating churches.
