Life is not measured in minutes. It’s measure in moments. And it’s so important to take those memories captive. I think it’s one dimension of II Corinthians 10:5. We tend to remember what we should forget and forget what we should remember. The way we counteract that is by journaling and conversing about those moments so they get ingrained in our memory banks. There is an old adage: the shortest pencil is longer than the longest memory. That’s why it’s so important to write down anything worth remembering. Over the past 24 hours, I’ve reread my gratitude journal and blog and come up with the 25 moments worth remembering in 2010. Here they are in chronological order. It’s a mixture of family and ministry memories.
