I spoke at Church of the Highlands last night. So great to hang out with Chris Hodges and Billy Hornsby and reconnect with David Russell, our former digital pastor. Highlands is one of the fastest growing church in America. Amazing story. Amazing movement. And after being there I can see why!

Here was my dominant impression as I worshiped with them last night. The people didn’t just come to be ministered to by the Lord. They came to minister to the Lord. The worship was off the hook. It was such a genuine expression of praise to God. To me, the thing that sets a church apart is the spirit of the church. Love the spirit of Highlands. The spiritual energy is visceral. It was like a breath of fresh air.
