Just got our Easter mailers. We haven’t done a mailer in a long time, but we wanted to cast the net this year so we’re inviting 100,000 Washingtonians to church on Easter.

One of my most poignant church planting memories was our first mailer. For the record, it was terribly designed by yours truly! And we shouldn’t have been marketing yet because our services were pretty pathetic at that point. It was sort of like let’s spend lots of money to get as many people as possible to check out how bad our weekend services are to insure that they never come back again. I might be exaggerating a little but not much! Anywho. I do remember having a label party at our house. We hand labeled every card and prayed over all of them. I believe God is still answering some of those prayers!

We went with a very simple standard design because we felt like less is more when it comes to Easter.
