Our team spent about six hours walking around Berlin today. Wish I had some pictures to post, but my camera is acting up. Gonna have to do surgery on it when I get home.
Our team is here doing reconnaissance. Trying to discern if God might be calling us to Berlin in some capacity. Honestly, we have more questions than answers. But that’s why we’re here. Best way to get a feel for a city is to get on the ground.
We met with ministry leaders and business leaders today. And we visited quite few cafes. There are definitely lots of cultural differences. Berliners seem to avoid eye contact, for example. But I love the vibe of Berlin. Love the food too. Ate a doner. Anybody ever have one? My new favorite food. They shave slices of meat off a huge slab. Like a gyros but better! Hmmmm good.
