Got a nice surprise a couple weeks ago–a call from Leonard Sweet. Len is one of my favorite authors–I try to read everything he writes. Which is no easy task! He also does retreats called advances–a little play on words. They are small gatherings of approximately 25 leaders. And it is basically a two-day conversation. He always tag-teams with someone and he asked if I’d do the 2009 Water Advance.

How is that for “advance” planning? Already anticipating it. It’ll be on Orcas Island off the coast of Washington State. Here’s a link.
