My friend, Joel Malm, has started an amazing organization called summit leaders. It’s not a leadership conference. It’s a leadership expedition. I love the “destination” or “goal” dimension to the trip. Last year we hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

There are a few cool trips in 2011.

The first trip is for ladies. It’d being led by author, and all around great person, Margaret Feinberg. It’s a hike through the Scottish Highlands. You’ll love hanging out with Margaret. The dates are June 5-11.

I’ll lead the other trip in August to Yosemite National Park where we’ll have a day of pretty intensive teaching followed the next day by the hike to Half Dome. It’ll be unforgettable. And what a place to reconnect with the Creator! Registration isn’t live yet but the #’s will be limited. And despite what the site says, you don’t have to be a pastor to go on this one. We’re going to open it up to a larger group of men.
