I’ve gotten so many inspirational emails this week. One of them was from an 84 year-old who is still chasing the Wild Goose! I love “old young” people! One of my favorite words is neoteny. It’s a zoological term that means “the retention of youthful qualities into adulthood.” So inspired by those who have made seventy or eighty trips around the sun, but still have lots of chase left in them. Reminds me of Caleb, the octogenarian warrior.
Two other emails have come from pastors. One of them is from a church plant that just launched last weekend with a Wild Goose Chase sermon series. They had 364 their first Sunday. And another pastor just emailed me and said 30 people have crossed the line of faith during their Wild Goose Chase sermon series. I feel like a shareholder! Rejoicing with them as the kingdom advances!
