Thirteen years ago today, my father-in-law, Bob Schmidgall, passed away at the age of 55. My desire to pastor one church for life was inspired by his example. He planted and pastored Calvary Church in Naperville, Illinios for 30+ years. His life showed me what God can do if you plant yourself in one place and let your roots grow deep.
