I love honey roasted peanuts. I’m not sure who first combined honey and peanuts, but I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them! I’m a wierd eater. I go in cycles. I develop addictions to certain foods for small amounts of time. For example, I remember an addiction to mint-chocolate cookies when we first moved to DC. I’d eat them every day. Then I went through a brownie-bowl at Uno’s Pizzeria phase. I think I’m entering a honey roasted peanut phase. I got them at Dulles airport on the way to Ethiopia and fortunately, they lasted several days into my trip. I’ve been craving them ever since and I just discovered that a gas station a block away from our office has them. They just earned a customer. I can get a cherry coke and two-for-one on the honey roasted peanuts for $2. That’s what I call lunch. By the way, the best honey roasted peanuts are in Manhattan. You can get a bag for a buck and they’re HOT. It’s worth the trip to NY city just to get a bag of those peanuts. But if your’e there anyways, I’d recommend a corned beef sandwich at Carnegie Deli too. They cost about $13, but when I had my first corned beef sandwich there I felt like they got ripped off. It was that good.
