Woke up to about eight inches of snow which would be huge by DC standards. But we’re supposed to get up to two feet. That would make it the largest snowstorm in December in DC history! I love the way meteorologists are calling it a historic storm.
Whenever we have a fresh snowfall I automatically and immediately think of Lamentations 3:23: “His mercies are new every morning.” That has to rank as one of the greatest promises in all of Scripture. His mercy is more beautiful than freshly fallen snow.
