Greatest Moments

What were your greatest moments of 2010? Every year our family goes to Tony Cheng’s in Chinatown on New Year’s Eve and we reflect on our favorite moments of the year. What’s interesting to me is how easy it is to remember bad memories, but you really have to be intentional about hanging on to the good memories.

As I look back, the greatest moments always involve my family. It’s the shared experiences. I think I made that discovery a few years ago and I totally overhauled my life goal list. I don’t have many personal goals. Most of them involve shared experiences. When you go after a goal with a spouse or son or daughter, it makes them so much more meaningful.
