Freshman of the City

We’re at the beginning of a new semester of small groups at National Community Church. For what it’s worth, we do semesters because it provides on ramps and off ramps for a highly transient congregation.  We also do a free market system of small groups which simply means we let leaders get a vision and go for it.

This week we launch a new experiment called Freshman of the City.  Kicks off Tuesday at 7 PM @ Ebenezer’s Coffeehouse. I’ll share about how Lora and I got to DC, some ins and outs we’ve learned along the way, and even a little history of the city.

FOTC is a place where you can get rooted in a Biblical worldview, a life-giving community, and learn the basics of navigating a city like DC. It’s a one semester small group for 20 and 30 somethings who want their faith to inform all of life. Along with teaching and mentoring, we’ll throw in a few field trips!
