I met Benny Perez, pastor of The Church of South Las Vegas, last week at the Catalyst West Conference. He told me his son was named Benaiah so I asked if could send him a free copy of In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day. Benaiah won’t be ready to read it for about a decade but I’ve never had more fun signing a book for someone. I wrote what I always write: Chase the Lion. But I added: It’s your destiny!

I dated the book because it feels like a time-capsule. Can’t wait till he’s old enough to read it. Believing it’ll help shape his destiny.
