I remember our first Easter like it happened last year. We had forty-two people show up and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I remember being so excited because it was more than double our average attendance. We’ve come a long ways. We celebrated the one-year anniversary of our Columbia Heights location today. And we had our second week at Barracks Row.
We took video of everybody coming into our Barracks Row location this week so hopefully we’ll have a cool time-lapse. We packed it out today. We can’t open up that balcony fast enough. So grateful for the People’s Church. With both of us using the space for the time being it feels like a double blessing. Great celebrations at all seven locations.
What a great team effort this weekend. Over the top. We touched thousands of lives via our services & outreaches! The highlight? It might have been Lora leading the closing song at Barracks Row. She led worship for our first eight years, but it’s been a while since she’s led. It was an all-hands-on-deck weekend for sure!
