We kicked off a new series this weekend on the parables. Had the hardest time titling it. Ended up with Figuratively Speaking.

No one could say more with less words than Jesus. Most of the parables are less than 250 words, but they are packed with truth. This series is about unpacking those stories. They are so memorable–hear them once and you remember the forever. They are so down to earth. And they are are so pictorial.

Some truths are deduced via left-brain logic. Other truths are induced via right-brain imagination. The parables fall into the latter category. They capture the imagination in such a unique way.
