We’re calling NCC to Fast for Favor on Friday. Give up a meal. And pray for the favor of God as try to figure out our next location. For the record, everyplace we’re considering would take a miracle!

The favor of God is God doing for you what you cannot do for yourself. And that’s what it’s going to take!

It was the favor of God that put NCC on the map. The Washington Post did a front page article, Sunday edition, on NCC. It took us five years to grow from 19 people to 250 people. After that article we doubled in a year. We had hundreds of people visit because of that article. And what I love about that is this: we cannot take credit for it. All of us are capable of bad press. But good press is the favor of God.

It is the favor of God that got us to where we are. And it is the favor of God that will get us where God wants us to go. So we’re going to fast for favor!
