There are moments in ministry when you’ve got to hit the pause button and soak in the blessings of God. This is one of those moments. I had a feeling that this would be the greatest weekend in the history of National Community Church. It was. I think we’re experiencing the cumulative effect. If you faithfully love God and love people long enough, God will do something way beyond your ability!
I kept thinking about our first Easter service when we had 42 people. And I remember being so excited. We’ve come a long way! I tend to focus on how far we have to go versus how far we have come. But this is one of those days when I’m so grateful for God’s favor on NCC. We blessed thousands of people with our Easter Eggstravaganzas. Our launch in Columbia Heights was off the hook. In fact, our first service was standing room only. Some of our services at Ebenezers were breathing room only. Most importantly, dozens of people crossed the line of faith. God was glorified big time. And that’s all that matters.
For what it’s worth, we already need to launch our 6th location! I’m guessing we’ll launch it in less than four months. God is on the move. We’re just trying to keep up!
