I definitely got what I came for yesterday–an education in publishing!

I shared a little bit about myself, NCC, and my book with the Multnomah crew yesterday morning. Thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to interface. Then I spent time with the sales team–quite the machine. We spent some time talking about editing my manuscript. And we talked marketing and design. Definitely downloaded a ton of 411.

I now understand why there are lots of credits at the beginning of a book. It doesn’t just mysteriously appear on shelves What a team effort.

It’s almost like a game of crack the whip and I’m on the end. The editing and marketing teams are spinning me around. And eventually we’ll release the book.
