We have a core conviction at NCC: the church ought to be the most creative place on the planet. Of course, we ought to be the most compassionate place on the planet too. And if we could just combine those two things, just imagine. I think we waste so much of our creativity on insignificant things. What if we could channel some of the creativity from the marketing and design and entertainment industries and channel it toward compassionate endeavors? I know there are efforts to do that. We just need more compassionate and more creative efforts within the church.
