So yesterday I was telling Josiah about our All Church Celebration. He said, “What’s a celebration?” I said, “It’s like a party.” He said, “Dad, church isn’t a party.” I said, “Why not?” He said, “Because it doesn’t have costumes, games or fun.” I was a little offended. I said, “Josiah, church is fun.” He said, “Fun for you. You get to talk the whole time and say whatever you want.”

I got a good laugh. Josiah has a way of saying things that gives me fresh perspective! By the way, if our All Church Celebration wasn’t fun I don’t know what is. I can’t find the words to describe it.

God was glorified.
