Last week I randomly said something that has turned into something of a personal equation: caffeine + the Holy Spirit = Awesome. I was talking about the dynamic of our coffeehouse services. People get caffeine on the way in so there is a unique buzz in those services. So I said caffeine + the Holy Spirit but I didn’t know what to say next so I just said “awesome.” And a new equation was born.

I said it again last night and you’d think it was the only thing people heard. One little girl actually came up to me afterward and she’d drawn a picture of me with that caption below it:

Caffeine + the Holy Spirit = Awesome.
