Had a blast hanging out with Scott and Sue Aughtmon today. Scott was our church planter in residence two years ago. He is pastoring Pathway Church in Palo Alto, CA. He is also an amazing blogger. His blog is a must read.

For what it’s worth, I highly recommend a church planter in residence position for every church. We’re a multi-site church, but we’re also a church planting church. It’s both/and. I think it’s healthy having someone on the team who is always being mentored to plant a church. It helps us maintain an entreprenurial culture.
