I know some of you have wondered why I’m not blogging quite as much. The short answer: another book deadline. It seems like every spare second is devoted to writing my next book. And the truth is: without a deadline it’d never get written.

I feel like this book is mission critical. It has tremendous potential to impact. And that’s why I’m measuring every word. I wish I could say that each book gets easier, but it really doesn’t. In some ways, it gets harder because I feel like I raise the bar myself. Yes, I have perfectionist tendencies. I think that makes my books better than they would be but it also makes writing harder!
