I think one of the greatest joys of ministry is seeing NCC grow to a place where lots of things are having that I can’t take any credit for We’ve just launched Alpha and I think we topped a hundred people attending those dinners! I didn’t do any of the work. I just prayed behind the scenes. For what it’s worth, I was praying for a hundred people even though that seemed like a crazy prayer considering it’s our first semester doing Alpha. But we had so much “prayer cover” and so many gifted leaders spearheading it that we’re off to an awesome start. I can only describe what I feel in my spirit this way: we’ve turned a spiritual corner! Sometimes I’ll get goofy and do a cheer with my kids “Let’s go, let’s go, l e t s g o, let’s go!” Sorry about that mental picture of me I feel like a cheerleader on the sidelines watching our team pull off an incredible win.
