My blog is one way I mark moments or put up milestones. One of our family dreams has always been to create a non-profit that God can use to be a blessing to others. We finally took that step of faith. I wanted to do it before The Circle Maker releases.
The name? 7 Circles.
It’s a play off of the Jericho story in Joshua 6. To claim the promise the Israelites had to circle the city seven times. The heartbeat of 7 Circles is to come alongside those who are circling their dreams and encourage them to “keep circling.” There are a few ways we’ll do that. One is by providing resources. Two is via conferences and retreats. Three is by investing in circle makers–those who are circling their God-ordained dreams with prayer circles.
Like every other dream I’ve ever pursued, I’m not sure what it will become but that isn’t my responsibility. He who begins the good work is the One who carries it to completion. Our job is simply this: take the first step of faith. So that’s what we’re doing. We have officially sent off all the paperwork and applied for tax-exempt recognition.
