Went to get blood work done today and I couldn’t help but thank God for my health. Honestly, I shouldn’t even be alive after ruptured intestines. Throw in about a dozen hospitalizations for asthma and four knee surgeries and I’m a doctor’s dream. But I think some of my health challenges, especially asthma, help me appreciate every breath I take. Did you know that we take about 23,000 breaths per day? Seems like we owe God 23,000 thank yous!
